Mother // artist

Mother // Artist is a community space offering local workshops, meetups, and one-on-one Zoom sessions. It exists to challenge the patriarchal norms that undermine both creativity and caregiving, pushing back against a culture that often isolates, exhausts, and fragments. Mother // Artist rejects the notion that art careers and motherhood must be at odds, cultivating a practice where each enriches the other.

All sessions (75 minutes) will take place via Zoom, with or without video, depending on what feels most comfortable for you. Please share a bit about what draws you to work together and what you’re seeking to explore.

  • If you're an artist and mother at any stage of your creative journey or caregiving, schedule a 75-minute one-on-one session with me. Together, we can discuss any challenges you’re facing around your art practice, navigating motherhood, or balancing both. Whether you have questions about art-making, business, writing, time management, starting out, spiritual practices, or deepening your connection to your intuition, or how to fit your creative work within the margins of motherhood while navigating oppressive systems, I’m here to support you.

In our session, I can provide professional critique on your work, help you process and plan, edit and brainstorm ideas, or troubleshoot any roadblocks. We’ll connect as two artist-mothers in a space that values presence, honesty, and openness. You can ask me anything related to art, motherhood, or spirituality, and together, we’ll create a practical path forward that feels grounded, regulated, and aligned with your unique rhythm and needs.

  • I am a full-time mother and artist, and I work and parent from home. I paint, create drawings, write a newsletter, run an online shop, manage a social media page, and collaborate with other artists and brands. As a self-taught artist who began her journey over a decade ago, I have fully committed to the creative process. My work is profoundly influenced by my relationship to nature and shaped by dreamtending, motherhood, and survival. I have had the honor of collaborating with hundreds of women worldwide, providing guidance through creative projects, personalized art commissions, one-on-one sessions, and somatic therapy.

  • All bookings are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please do so at least three days before our scheduled session. Cancellations made after booking will not be refunded, and no-shows will not be allowed to rebook.

  • These sessions are not a substitute for therapy or professional mental health services. Rather, they are a sharing of insights drawn from my own personal experiences, knowing we all benefit from fresh perspectives that guide and inspire us. Within this intimate container, you are invited to self-locate and find your own truth. I am an artist, not a mental health professional, coach, consultant, or a licensed therapist.
